Evalonya
Evalonya: A Dream Theme Park
For my Senior project in my undergraduate program, I created a theme park called Evalonya with a focus on designing attraction posters inspired by those found at Magic Kingdom. In addition to the posters, I fleshed out a map that showcases the park's various lands and attractions. To give the park a sense of history, I also wrote a short story that ties everything together.
Evalonya is a kingdom full of mystical creatures and enchanting forests where humans reside. The park is divided into four lands, each with its own unique theme. You can find more information about Evalonya and its attractions on the map below.
Check out the posters I created for some attractions in my park's lands.
Origin
Located In the Enchanted Forest
A dark ride experience that explains the history of the kingdom.
Dragon's Rampage
Located In the Dragon Cove
A roller coaster that puts guests on the back of a dragon for a moment of flight.
Elf Games
Located In the Elf Village
A dark ride game that teaches guests the ways of elven archey and magic.
Rebirth
Located In the Fairy Garden
A simulator ride that takes guests through the life journey of a fairy; Ice, air, wind, or light (rotating and raondomized).
This Is the logo for Evalonya. I Incorporated elements from each of the kingdom's lands In the design.
This map will guide you through the park's many wonders. If you enter through the main gate, you'll find yourself in the Entrance Land. From there, two paths lead to the Enchanted Forest, which is the park's heart. The Elf Village has a dark ride game and several shops; the Fairy Garden has a simulator ride and a swing ride; the Dragon Cove has a roller coaster and a Dumbo-type ride; and the Mermaid Lagoon features a log ride that ends in a giant aquarium and a large pool where guests can meet various mermaids.
Holmes Estate Escapade
TEA@Florida's Design Competition
Our team was assigned the exciting challenge of designing a themed hotel based on a public domain story, and we chose Sherlock Holmes as our inspiration. To bring our concept to life, we developed an exterior facade, two amenities, and two unique room types. To make the guest experience even more immersive, we also crafted a backstory and plot that guests could follow throughout their three-day stay.
This project was a true team effort that allowed each member to focus on their individual strengths and preferences. As for me, I was eager to improve my storytelling and design skills, so I dedicated my efforts towards this specific area of the project.
Here are some important details about our project, including the rendering of rooms, guest schedule, and the menu. Although I provided input, these were primarily the responsibilities of my teammates.
My most significant contribution to the project was developing the characters, their backstories, and their personalities. I ensured that they were interconnected with each other, Sherlock Holmes, and Lady Holmes to provide an immersive experience for the guests.
Additionally, I was responsible for designing and laying out our final presentation board, which includes the images you see here.

An Escape Room Experience
For my Design & Documentation class, we were tasked with developing a themed environment based on a random combination of a painting, a genre, and a venue type. Our team's concept was an escape room experience set in a train depot.
In addition to the Blue Sky concept, we had to write a comprehensive Scope of Work. My particular focus was on the narrative and design of the document itself.
The following Images were my specific contributions, and the the following link Is for the whole document
Included are the narrative slides I've written, along with information about the escape room's objective and what guests should be searching for in each car.
Virtual Escape Room
BrimWorks Escape
My current team is fully remote, so we have on-site visits to the main office in Orlando every few months. During these visits, we hold several in-person meetings with other teams and participate in a team-building activity. I was given the responsibility, with minor input from other interns, of creating and controlling the event. Initially, we planned a Kahoot game, but due to the large number of participants, we had to reconsider. Instead, I developed a virtual escape room that incorporated ideas from each member of our team. Although the themes were a bit scattered, I enjoyed weaving them together into a cohesive narrative. I created all but two of the puzzles, as well as composed and formatted the quiz.
